Assessment of Value Breakfast Briefing (London)

Authorised Fund Managers (AFMs) are approaching the first deadline to publish annual Assessment of Value reports.

08 October 2019

Date: Tuesday 8th October 2019

Time: 8:30 arrival and breakfast for 9:00 start

Duration: 1 hour

Location: HgCapital, 2 More London Riverside, London SE1 2AP

The outcomes from the FCA’s Asset Management Market Study (AMMS) are changing the way fund groups work and even the way they are structured, all in the name of acting in investors’ best interests and delivering better outcomes for them.

Every authorised fund manager (AFM) is now obligated to publish an annual Assessment of Value (AoV) report. As we approach the first deadlines for these reports in January 2020, it is important that funds are well and truly prepared to report on the full range of criteria listed in COLL 6.621R, which includes:

  1. Quality of Service
  2. Performance
  3. AFM costs - general
  4. Economies of scale
  5. Comparable market rates
  6. Comparable services
  7. Classes of units

Please join FE's Mikkel Bates, Regulatory Manager and Edward Bateman, Lead Training Consultant, on Tuesday 8th October 2019 on how to best prepare for Assessment of Value reports and how you can leverage FE's whole of market data during the process.
