The new role focusing on Data Design and Definition is for a newly established department, to be based in the UK (Woking or London). The position to the company’s Chief Data Officer.

The starting date will be as soon as possible or as agreed upon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing data concepts
  • Developing and defining new fund data fields for all data types (static and dynamic data)
  • Composing functional and technical White Papers
  • Acting as contact point for internal as well as external technical queries
  • Close collaboration with the Marketing Department as well as internal and external experts on regulatory requirements and relations
  • Managing a central Meta-Fund Data Database
  • Co-designing and further developing of the various fund standards (EMT, EPT, TPT, openfunds, FundsXML, etc.)

Key Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of the finance sector (Funds, ETFs)
  • Basic knowledge in working with databases
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of international fund and tax regulations and translate this knowledge into data fields
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • French and/or German would be an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills and a structured and accurate way of working
  • Ability to work in team as well as independently
