FE fundinfo is a Financial Services Data and Technology company, providing web-marketing & e-commerce solutions, document production systems, research data & tools to the Investment Industry.

This new role will be based in the UK (London)and will report to the the company’s Chief Commercial Officer.

Responsible to: Chief Commercial Officer

External Relationships: Senior management at Asset managers, both front and back office, Profile with industry commentators and consultants, Senior executives at advertising agencies serving the sector, Leadership teams of other AM service providers

Internal Relationships: Senior management, Heads of Propositions, Product Management, HR and Finance

Location: Flexible with extensive Pan – European travel

Team size: 12

Main Duties

Lead the Asset Management sales team to:

  • Complete the FE fundinfo network by building and maintaining a relationship with each of the 860 Asset Managers across Europe
  • Drive up product holdings across existing clients through a client centric approach to selling
  • Integrate Media sales, our fund registration service and our data management solution into the core offering of data and investment research tools currently offered by the asset management sales team, developing a pre-sales function where necessary
  • Develop partnerships with related providers, such as Solvency Analytics, to deepen our relationships with clients
  • Work with the Head of Distributors to build FE fundinfo’s profile across Europe
  • Create a high paced sales culture with a focus on results
  • Reinforce pipeline management processes to ensure delivery of targets and transparency of performance, in particular through full utilisation of Salesforce
  • Ensure one team culture and one way of working across all geographies to achieve the highest levels of client service
  • Be part of the senior management team across the business building strong working relationships with all functions across the company

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Track record of leading a geographically diverse business across Europe
  • Extensive experience of leading key deals and relationships personally across all European countries
  • Profile with key decision makers at Asset Managers and a detailed knowledge of the industry
  • Extensive network with other providers and consultants
  • Collaborative approach
  • Lead from the front personality and strong personal sales skills
