Three additional investment service platforms will offer access to FE Investments’ range of risk-targeted managed portfolios services, taking the total number of platforms on which the portfolios are now available to 17.

Aegon, FundsNetwork and Old Mutual Wealth* are the latest platforms to offer FE Investments’ Hybrid, Income, Responsibly Managed and Mosaic portfolios, which are risk-adjusted to meet the needs of a wide variety of investors. The firm’s approach to its portfolio construction differs to traditional methods, preferring instead to concentrate on risk targeting and diversification of funds, rather than selecting the ‘best in class’ of differing assets.

The latest additions to platform cap an impressive period of growth over the past year for the investment firm, which is the investment arm of global fund data and technology company, FE fundinfo. Having launched as a consultancy in 2012, FE Investments now has more than £3.5bn of assets under management (AUM), is the second fastest growing DFM on platform according to Platforum and in December 2020, won the ‘Rising Star’ award at the PA Wealth Partnerships Awards.

Oliver Clarke-Williams, Portfolio Manager at FE Investments, said:
“The volatile markets in 2020 demonstrated to many investors the importance effective risk management within their portfolios. That we have been able to grow our AUM in these challenging circumstances and further increase our presence on platform demonstrates the effectiveness of the FE Investments’ approach. 2021 promises to be another year of growth for FE Investments and DFMs in general as investors look to readjust their portfolios to benefit from any potential market upside.

“The inclusion of our portfolios on the Aegon, FundsNetwork and Old Mutual Wealth platforms is the latest step in this journey and will further increase our range of distribution among advisers and their clients. Having access to our portfolios will allow Aegon’s, FundNetwork’s and Old Mutual Wealth’s clients the chance to benefit from our unique approach.”
